“Commandments” for Weight Loss Success

Learn more about today’s weight loss tip; the “commandments” of weight loss.

Here are some “commandments” for weight loss success.

  1. Make sure whatever you do is based on real data. Research has revealed what works for weight loss and what doesn’t. Don’t be afraid to do a little reading to learn more. Research shows that about 96% of weight loss attempts fail.
  2. Set a realistic weight loss goal. Your weight loss goal should be based in reality. We cannot look like Barbie or Ken. Realize that you are special. We cannot all look like Pamela Anderson, but really do you want to be a knockoff. Make your goal to be healthy, not to just look good.
  3. Beware of diet solutions that promise easy results. Many failed diets cause unnecessary suffering. Weight loss misinformation causes many of us to fail.
  4. Weight loss success is not about food. Obesity is not the actually problem but a physical symptom of a non-physical problem. This means that the excess weight is a symptom of a deeper problem. We fail when we do not solve the true cause of our obesity.
