Diet and Exercise Planning: Implementing Your Exercise Regimen

Posted February 15th, 2006 by admin

Learn how to implement your exercise regimen into your diet and exercise planning.

Before beginning any exercise regimen please consult your physician. You may not be aware of any underlying condition that can become aggravated by your exercise program. Make sure you are healthy enough to start a workout program.

Define what you expect to achieve with the new exercise regimen. Set realistic goals with realistic time frames. Set both short and long term goals that are attainable.

Remember to eat healthier. Your exercise results are determined by how well you eat. If you fill your face with sweets, how can you expect to lose weight. Good nutrition is essential to a healthy body. If you need to, you can consult a licensed dietician. If you choose to use a dietary supplement, make sure you understand what you are using.

You need to push yourself to achieve your goals but do not over do it. Obsessive compulsions are not conducive to a healthy exercise program. Exercise is more about being healthy and feeling better about yourself, not to look good in the mirror.
