Not only will exercising give you more energy and stamina, and increase your confidence, but exercise also gives you the extra strength you need for delivering your newborn. This is why a regular daily fitness regimen would be beneficial during pregnancy.
Regular exercise during pregnancy has been known to reduce the amount of labor for the mom to be by about one-third the time. However, there are a few guidelines that should be followed. When pregnant, you should always consult your physician before beginning any diet or exercise regimen. You want to ensure that you are not causing harm to your baby or yourself.
You should always start out slowly. Do not perform strenuous exercises. You should choose an exercise or activity in which you can maintain good health without causing harm to yourself. If you begin to feel exerted or worn out, stop exercising immediately. Allow yourself time to rest. When exercising, you should avoid extreme temperatures, extreme humidity, and high altitudes. Make sure to drink plenty of water to keep yourself hydrated. You should monitor your heart rate, breathing, and pulse while exercising. Diet and exercise planning encourage you to try to avoid jumping, bouncing, or running during the final trimester.
