Diet and Exercise Planning: Sabotaged!

Posted February 15th, 2006 by admin

Don’t let family and friends sabotage your diet and exercise planning endeavors.

One of the biggest difficulties in diet and exercise planning may be trying to get around the obstacles that family and friends use to sabotage you. Family and friends may feel insecure regarding your weight loss plans, and may use various tactics to deter you. However, do not let your family and friends keep you from attaining your weight loss goals.

The first thing to realize is that any disheartening statements are really about their own inadequacies. Do not take it personally. Instead, focus on your goals to get healthier. Make sure the closest family members (husband, wife) know that you are dieting. Maybe they are not trying to sabotage you, but do not have enough info. Finally, try to get your family involved with the diet and exercise planning changes. Do not lecture them, but instead work together on family meal plans. You can do it!
