Many respond to sushi with a face of disgust. However, sushi has many health benefits to those who eat it. Sushi is made with rice, vegetables, and of course fish. In order to enhance the flavor of the ingredients soya sauce, wasabi, and ginger are used as condiments. You should also use fresh fish, rice, and vegetables when making sushi

Sushi has been very popular in Japan but recently has gained immense popularity in the Western World. The history of sushi goes back to the 7th century. The popular form of sushi served at bars came into popularity in Tokyo around 1820.

What health benefits does sushi have? The seaweed (Nori) used in rolled sushi is high in vitamin C, vitamin B complex, and vitamin A. Rice is low in fat and sodium, and is also a good carbohydrate for energy. The fish in sushi is a good source of protein. The soya sauce is high in sodium but you can also find low sodium versions. Soya is a good source of protein.
