Energy and Weight Loss Supplements: Healthy Weight

Posted January 30th, 2006 by admin

Learn more about today’s energy and weight loss supplements topic; maintaining a healthy weight.

Keeping healthy these days means maintaining a healthy weight. This area affects women extensively since our weight reflects our overall level of physical health, mental and emotional well being, and our self perception too. Good health represents more than just body weight. Our health is affected by our family medical history, genetic predispositions, alcohol use, cigarette smoking, diet, and the amount of exercise we participate in.

Our weight is a poor measure of health. The self conscious feelings regarding weight are associated with media images and glamorous advertisements. These images rarely portray health, but looks. Surrounded by images and conceptions of beauty distort our image of a healthy body. Media images actually portray unhealthy standards.

Weight loss should not be your only goal of your fitness efforts. Your goal should be to improve your health. Weight loss will be a byproduct of all your fitness and health efforts. How can you get healthier? Eat a healthy diet that is well balanced. Exercise regularly. Limit your alcohol and cigarette consumption. Use your common sense to make simple changes. Start walking to work or snack on fruits instead of chocolate.
