Liquid Vitamin Facts: Apple Juice

Learn more about today’s liquid vitamin facts topic; nutritious and healthy uses of apple juice.

Apple juice is a popular drink that can offer health benefits. Apple juice can help flush the kidneys and sort out digestive difficulties. Many of these benefits are found in cider vinegar or juicing your own apples. Try adding two tablespoons of cider vinegar in a glass of water.

Many are into the apple juice diet. This diet supposedly purifies the blood as a general detoxifier. It is best to store this juice in the refrigerator as the juice quickly oxidizes. Fad diets should be done for only a short time. I suggest no longer than a week, for health reasons

Apples are a great health food. The apple contains about 15 calories per ounce. This fruit contains vitamin C, B6, folic acid, thiamine, biotin, riboflavin, nicotinic acid, and carotene. The apple also contains the minerals sodium, potassium, and phosphorous. The apple also contains pectins, tannic acid, and malic acid. Pectins, malic acid, and tannic acid are all very important therapeutically for digestive function.
