One of the liquid vitamin facts we often discuss is the benefits of phytochemicals and phytonutrients. Recently, scientists have found some possible additional benefits to vitamins and phytonutrients.

Adopting a high fiber diet was thought to reduce the risk of colon cancer by up to 40% in a European study and 33% in a study performed in Sweden. Now scientists are unable to confirm that fiber alone has been the colon cancer reducing ingredient.

Many of the high fiber foods added to a high fiber diet contain essential vitamins and phytochemical.
