Liquid vitamin facts encourages the utilization of the breath in yoga.

Today’s liquid vitamin facts focus is yoga. For the benefits of yoga to be recognized, proper technique and breathing must be intertwined. Learning how to breathe is the first step to experiencing the benefits of yoga. However, different types of yoga call for different types of breathing. Also there is no right way to breathe in yoga, but if your goal is for total relaxation then your breathing should reflect that. This means that you would take long deep breaths meant to slow the heart rate allowing you to fully relax.

Breathing originates in the diaphragm. Do not restrict the breath. Relax every muscle in your face, neck, shoulders, chest, and jaw. This will allow you to benefit from the relaxing breath in yoga. Try clenching the body part in question, and then let that muscle go entirely for full relaxation.

Your breathing should be smooth and easy allowing it to occur at its own natural rate. A relaxation breath should accentuate exhalation. Exhalation should be longer than inhalation to fully empty the lungs of air. Pause between your breaths to allow for further relaxation. I hope that today’s liquid vitamin facts focus has benefited you in some way.
