Simple Strategy for Weight Loss Effectiveness

Posted November 30th, 2005 by admin

Learn how to maximize your weight loss with effective weight loss tips.

Starving ourselves on a very strict diet is not the answer to weight loss. Nor is it beneficial to severely restrict intake to only one meal a day. This is actually harmful for us. By restricting our intake to only one meal a day, we are actually forcing our body to metabolize lean muscle. Metabolizing lean muscle causes our body to go into starvation mode, which decreases our metabolism.

Boosting our metabolism requires us to perform a regular exercise regimen. When we exercise intensely, we create lean muscle. This increases our metabolism by up to 200%. More calories are burned by lean weight than by fat weight (20 times more). We can also eat smaller meals more often. Diet plays an important part also. Quality foods are important for effective weight loss, limit your fat intake and enjoy healthier foods. When attempting to lose weight, you have to be smart about it. If it takes time to lose weight, it will be more beneficial and more likely to stay off. Good luck with your weight loss endeavors.
