The continual talks about vitamins and your health have lead away from need to know knowledge. How do vitamins affect our health and what do they do for the body?

Vitamins have a very important function in the body and function mainly as catalysts, combining with proteins to create metabolically active enzymes that in turn produce hundreds of important chemical reactions throughout the body. Just a few of the vitamin assisted health process are the formation of hormones, blood cells, nervous system chemicals and genetic material.
