Vitamins and Your Health: The Benefits of Coffee

Posted February 14th, 2006 by admin

Finally! Vitamins and your health has descovered a reason to drink coffee.

Many need more than vitamins to function in the morning. They believe the morning cup of coffee is the best thing for their health. Usually most are looking for the caffeine in the coffee to get them going. However, coffee does have a few side benefits that many have disregarded.

Recent studies do show that coffee may share some of the same healthy attributes as green tea. Coffee has been shown to help boost our immune system and help us fight disease. Coffee is shown to reduce the risk of diabetes. Coffee contains anti-oxidants such as tocopherols. Coffee also relieves tension headaches.

Unfortunately, coffee isn’t a vitamin but can offer some benefits for your health. Try not to overdo it with the coffee (no more than three cups of coffee a day).
