  1. Whatever your weight loss plan is, make sure that it is based on real data. We have made some real breakthroughs in weight loss science, so harness what works. Anything that sounds too good to be true, usually is. Studies have shown that about 96% of weight loss attempts fail.
  2. Set a realistic weight loss goal. Do not set yourself up for failure by setting an unrealistic goal. Your goal should have a realistic time frame also. We all want fast results, but you should lose no more than 1-2 pounds a week for lasting results. Losing weight in a very short time period is unhealthy for the body. Try not to set your sights on just looking good. Your goal should be to be healthier. Looking good is merely a byproduct of being healthy.
  3. Beware of fad diets that promise quick and easy results. Losing weight requires hard work, determination, and dedication. You can’t buy all of that in a nice little package.
