Weight Loss Tips: Bad Timing

Posted March 8th, 2006 by admin

An important part of effective weight loss tips is creating a sensible schedule.

Is it important in weight loss tips to consider not only what we do but when we do it. Eating at the wrong time can undermine your weight loss efforts. This is why planning your meals is so important. Try to consume 5-6 small meals each day around three to four hours apart. These meals should be highly nutritious and half the size of the traditional big three squares. These meals will help you to control your blood sugar and insulin levels, and thus your energy levels as well. Eating smaller meals can minimize the storage of body fat.

Always eat breakfast. Breakfast is the first meal in the morning that ends the fasting cycle created during sleep. When we eat breakfast we end the fasting cycle and increase the metabolism. if we skip breakfast our metabolism at a slower rate which makes waking up a difficult task. Also if we eat infrequently, the body may think it is starving. The body will take whatever steps necessary for survival which in this case is decreasing the body’s metabolism.

These two weight loss tips may seem elementary but are probably the most disregarded weight loss steps taken. Keeping your body on a sensible schedule will help you burn the calories you consume by making them availalbe when they are necessary.
