GERD affects one third of the adult population. The risk of developing GERD can be greatly reduced by effective weight loss tips.

GERD (Gastro Esophageal Reflux Disease) is something we hope to help you avoid with some simple weight loss tips.

Obesity is a major factor and can increase your risk of GERD. Chronic heart burn is a slang health term for this condition causing symptoms which offers very unpleasant burning in the throat and esophagus.

The condition is caused by not spicy foods but the acidic stomach content passing by the esophageal sphincter in to the esophagus where unprotected tissue in the lower esophagus and esophageal sphincter is damaged. If this condition is allowed to occur over and over again, the esophageal sphincter will eventually be unable to protect the esophagus from damaging acidic stomach content. This will allow you to fall victim to the unpleasant “heart burn” symptoms chronically.

This is a very unpleasant condition and affects nearly one third of the adult population. Obesity can dramatically increase your risk of GERD. Together we can reduce your risk of GERD and many other obesity linked condition with a few effective weight loss tips.
