Avocado oil is rich in vitamins A, D, E, and lecithin. Avocado oil penetrates the skin easily. Avocado oil helps with cell regeneration and acts as a sunscreen. Avocado oil is rich in essential fatty acids. If looking for an intensive facial treatment, use refined avocado oil because of its lack of odor.
Grape seed oil is an inexpensive carrier oil that is also odorless. Grape seed oil does not leave the skin feeling greasy. Grape seed oil is slightly astringent which helps tighten and tone the skin. Grape seed oil is great for alleviating acne.
Jojoba oil is more expensive but is better for hair and skin. Jojoba oil penetrates the skin quickly for excellent nourishment. Jojoba oil heals inflamed skin, eczema, psoriasis, or any type of dermatitis. Jojoba oil is good for the control of acne, oil skin, or scalp. Jojoba is good for all skin types but may clog pores occasionally. Jojoba oil is good for the treatment of arthritis and rheumatism. Jojoba oil will promote a healthy, glowing complexion.
Rosehip oil is cold pressed from rosehip seeds. Rosehip oil is pale, yellow in color. Rosehip oil is good for cosmetic purposes as this oil is good for cell regeneration, prevents premature aging of the skin, and softens wrinkles. Rosehip oil is good for the treatment of PMS, psoriasis, eczema, and menopause. Rosehip oil combined with calendula oil treats stretch marks, scars, and burns.
Sweet almond oil is popular and inexpensive as a carrier oil. Sweet almond oil is great as a massage oil that lubricates and moisturizes the skin. Sweet almond oil is good for the treatment of eczema. Sweet almond oil helps relieve itching, dryness, soreness, and inflammation. Sweet almond oil is rich in vitamin D and protein.
Calendula oil is extracted from the infusion of marigold flowers. Calendula oil can be blended with grape seed or almond oil for a great body massage oil. Evening primrose oil is good for softening, moisturizing, soothing dry and irritated skin. Wheat germ oil is rich in vitamin E. Wheat germ oil is a great moisturizer for mature, lifeless, dry skin. Sunflower oil can be used for body massage oil or for facial treatments. Sunflower oil is inexpensive and has good softening, moisturizing properties.
