Wellness Tips: How to Make The Most of Now

Posted April 3rd, 2006 by admin

Learn more about today’s wellness tips topic; how you can make the most of now.

Today’s wellness tips focuses on living in the present. “You must live in the present, launch yourself on every wave, find your eternity in each moment. Fools stand on their island of opportunities and look toward another land. There is no other land; there is no other life but this.” –Henry David Thoreau (1817-62) American writer, author, naturalist.

Do you spend your days waiting for something to happen or for the right opportunity to come along? Do you spend your day thinking about what has happened in life up to this moment? Each day we are a given a gift of time to value every moment. We are only given so much time in life, no more no less. In life we are given no second chances to relive an opportunity of chance once time has passed. Are you letting life pass you by? Only you can decide to take control and stop life from rushing by. You can savor every moment as it happens. You can take note of everything around you and be in the moment as it happens.

If today was your last, what message would leave? This is why communicating clearly, treating those you meet with kindness, understanding, and respect is also important. We demand respect and courtesy, why not return that to those you meet. Prioritize your time, do not waste your time. You should see every problem as a chance to grow. Live your life with purpose and not by accident. The past should be nothing more than a fading memory. The past cannot be changed. You have the chance to forge your own future. The things you do today are likely to have an impact on your future. Your current situation will not improve unless you do something about it. Wellness tips encourages you to seize every opportunity to make the most of life.
