Wellness Tips: Universal Laws of Stress
Learn how to combat stress.
We all have some type of stress in our lives today. However, dealing with stress can mean the difference between a long fruitful life and being six feet under. Here are a few universal laws of stress to consider.
The law of time involves giving up the most precious thing to stress, our time. To allow stress to overcome what little time we have on this planet is the ultimate punishment. So stop stress short, don’t waste your precious time on useless things in the first place.
Break the chain of stressors in your life. You must be willing to experiment with and accept new ways of thought. This new thinking can only lead to success. Keep an open mind. The more flexible you are, the more choices you can create.
Do not live in the past. Learn from your mistakes, but ultimately create a new blueprint. Try to learn and improve yourself each day. This will increase your resilience, awareness, and understanding.
There may be times when you feel there is no solution to your stressful dilemma. If this happens, find a way of relieving your stress. Go for a walk, learn to meditate, or do deep breathing exercises.
